The Sinister Slickster's Fuelish Frame-up

April 16 and 17, 7:30 p.m. and a Saturday matinee at 2 p.m.

In the photo: Villain Larson E. Sneedhearne (Tom Rolls) attempts to hypnotize Katrina Love (Karen Ewton).

This original melodrama features explosions, villains, heroes, sidekicks, the environment-saving Manure Mobile® and the "comely lass," coinciding with the Renewable Energy Stampede & Green Living Fair in Salado (April 17-18). Come cheer the hero, boo the villain and maybe throw a little popcorn too.

Boom Town! also has a "movie-ola," a locally shot, wild, 20-minute chase scene that begins on stage and continues on-screen with live musical accompaniment arranged by Nelda Milligan.

Tickets are $15 for adults; $12 for senior citizens, military personnel and students with ID; and $8 for children aged 12 and under for evening shows. For matinees, $10 for adults and $8 for all others. Group rates are available. For reservations, call the Silver Spur box office at 254-947-3456. 1. This is a great show and coincides with the Renewable Energy Stampede & Green Living Fair in Salado (April 17-18). Both are great for kids AND adults, since the "fuelish frame-up" refers to the Manure Mobile and the villain's having stolen the plans. The audience also is allowed to hiss, boo and throw popcorn. Laughter and Learning in the same weekend!
