In a dark totalitarian future, one individual reignites the world with the rediscovery of one word...
Austin Shakespeare presents the premiere of a new stage adaptation of Ayn Rand’s Anthem with words, music and projections by Jeff Britting at The Long Center’s Rollins Studio Theatre Wed.-Sat. 8 pm; Sun. 3 pm & 7:30 pm January 19 – 23. There will be a post-show discussion after every show.
There will be a special student "informance" on Fri. Jan 21: Student-friendly scene presentation and discussion at 11 a.m. (teachers, please contact alex@austinshakespeare.org for more information). On Saturday January 22 at 6:30 there will be a special pre-show party with playwright Jeff Britting and Yaron Brook, President of the Ayn Rand Institute at the Long Center’s AT&T room. Price includes show and Sterling catering and beverages.
