Do you know a student who loves drama? SAY Sí's ALAS Youth Theatre Company is holding auditions for new student members interested in acting, writing, directing and technical theatre! High school students interested in ALAS [Activating Leadership, Art and Service] have an opportunity to:
* Develop their artistic voice and skills
* Learn to collaborate with other theatre artists
* Meet and learn from professional actors, directors and writers
* Create and produce works for the stage
* Perform for their community
* Attend performances at the Majestic Theatre and The Charline McCombs Empire Theatre
Past productions include the rock 'n' roll holiday musical "Frankie and Elisabeth Get Their Wings," the multimedia puppet performance "Conejo de Campos" and bold new original short plays written by ALAS members and nationally recognized young playwrights in our "Wings to Fly" new works festival.
** A prepared monologue is not necessary for auditions.**
