Contact The Vex at vexler@jcc-sa.org to register. You will receive a reply with your appointment time and further preparation information. If you have not acted in a drama at the Vex within the last 3 years, please prepare a dramatic monologue not to exceed one minute in length. If you have acted in a drama at the Vex within the last 3 years, you will be given cold readings at the audition.All roles are open and will be cast as volunteer positions. Performances are February 6th – March 2nd 2014. (No show on 2/9.) Thursdays at 7:30 pm, Saturdays at 8:00 pm, Sunday matinees at 2:30 pm, and a potential selected Sunday evening show at 7:30 pm. Call times are 1 hour before curtain.
Rehearsals will begin with a few meetings, read-throughs, and table work sessions in mid December. Regular rehearsals will begin in January. A typical Vex rehearsal schedule is Monday- Thursday 7pm-10 pm. Friday and weekend rehearsals are scheduled as needed throughout the rehearsal period. The final two weeks and weekends of rehearsals include technical and dress rehearsals with the full company called.
