It sounds so simple, just a quick trip to the Laundromat with Daddy, Trixie, and her beloved Knuffle Bunny. But, before you know it things go horribly, hilariously wrong. Chock full of adventure, song, and gigantic dancing laundry, this musical based on the Caldecott Honor-winning picture book by Mo Willems and presented by the Kennedy Center, celebrates the heart and heartache that can only come from a family visit to the local Laundromat.
When you subscribe to the Play-Time Series or donate to the theatre you will be invited to be a part of our pre-show craft activity. Before each of our play-time shows, our Skinny Gallery partners and season subscribers participate in a pre-show craft activity that is thematically related to the show. For example, for Seussical, all of the children involved got to make Dr. Seuss hats, and they made moon and bunny puppets for Goodnight Moon.
For this project we partner with Theatre Action Project, a non-profit theatre education organization. The purpose of the activity is to engage the children's imaginations and have them be a part of the theatrical experience before they enter the theatre. [Subscribe Here]
