september play, a playful memorial that examines the lasting effects of the attacks of September 11th. Told through a mash up of mediums including dance, film, puppetry, installation and music, september play evokes our most innocent and imaginative answers to the country's most difficult questions.
Emerging from a solo thesis project, using interviews from a broad cross section of Americans and now realized as a burgeoning communal collaboration, september play is an unique dedication that surprisingly reclaims ways we discuss, interpret and think about September 11th. The play has been assembled by the creators of the highly acclaimed The Fictional Life of Historical Oddities at the 2011 The University Co-op Presents the Cohen New Works Festival.
