It is the beginning of the Trojan War. Greek King Agamemnon is trying to sail his ships into battle, but the goddess Artemis demands a sacrifice - of his eldest daughter, Iphigenia. Will Agamemnon destroy his daughter to begin a war? Or will family loyalty prevail?

Here is your opportunity to see a rarely performed Greek tragedy to begin our 2012-13 Theatre Season at Northwest Vista College. It is the begining of the Trojan War, and King Agamemnon's ships will not sail. The goddess demands a sacrifice from him - of his own daughter. Will he accept and sail?
