This is a tale of hilarity and humanity, set in motion by the bizarre death of Peggy Ingraham, the matriarch of a dysfunctional, working-class Texas family. There’s Peggy's daughter Latrelle, her cross-dresser sibling, Brother Boy - a dedicated Tammy Wynette impersonator - and sister LaVonda, who argues that Brother Boy should be released from the confines of an institution to attend the funeral. Latrelle's actor son Ty is pondering his return home and how and when he might come out to his mother. Meanwhile, the sisters argue about burying their mother in her beloved fox fur, when it’s just so hot outside. A tale of larger-than-life comedic characters with touching humanity.
