Georgetown's Got Talent!
All Things Kids and The Palace Theatre Guild are thrilled to invite you to our second annual Georgetown's Got Talent! This competition is open to adults and children of all ages, all talents, and all cities. It will take place right here in Georgetown - The Most Beautiful Town Square In Texas.
The search for the most talented in the region is a 3-step event beginning in May 2013:
Step 1: Auditions
After signing up to audition at www.GeorgetownsGotTalent.com, participants will perform on one of 9 audition nights, at local businesses such as All Things Kids, Burger University, Mel's Lone Star Lanes, Roots Café, Ken'z Guitars and A Premium Blend School of Performing Arts. Each location will host an audition party and the audience will select 1 winner to go on to the semi-finals.
Step 2: Semi-Finals on June 2, 2013
The winners of the auditions will perform on-stage at The Palace Theatre in Georgetown's Got Talent Live.
A panel of judges will have the daunting task of selecting 6 finalists. Tickets will be sold through the Palace website with sales benefiting The Georgetown Palace Theatre Guild.
Step 3: Finals
After we have our 6 finalists, we'll let our citizens in the region decide on the winner. Video recordings of the 6 acts will be posted online and votes will be collected via Facebook, Twitter, email and texting. The winner will be awarded a cash prize of $1000 as well as a professional video recording session to be sent directly to the producers of America's Got Talent along with Georgetown's endorsement!
Sincerely,
Karen Soeffker Producer of GGT, and Jessie Drollette, Palace Guild Chair
