The Tony-winning musical AVENUE Q is the hilarious and heartfelt story of a bright-eyed college grad who comes to New York with big dreams and little money. He can only afford to live on Avenue Q but (good news!) his neighbors turn out to be a remarkably funny bunch of characters.
Imagine an adult version of "Sesame Street," with the preschool banter replaced with irreverent songs such as "It Sucks to Be Me," "Everyone's A Little Bit Racist," "The Internet Is For Porn," and "If You Were Gay." But don't let the light-hearted melodies and adorable puppets fool you... This is NOT your child's favorite street!
STARRING: Michelle Alexander, Isaac Arrieta, Matthew Burnett, R. Michael Clinkscales, Marett Hanes, Rachel Hoovler, June Julian, Ashley Laverty, Eric Meo

Don't support ATP, this group, they don't pay actors or crew, I worked on Edges and they haven't paid like promised and blocked me from contact.
ReplyDeleteWe strongly suggest theatre groups not hiring Tony Love.
ReplyDeleteHe messed our lighting up so badly(both so called design, focus and running cues)that we were slammed in a review for it. The cast was furious after being left either in glaring lights when there should have been a blackout or still singing in the dark.
We had to hire someone else and spend hours relighting the entire show before the 2nd week.
Still we did send him a check. He emailed(at my still active email address)and stated he couldn't cash a check that had been written out to his name. We asked for that check to be sent back and then sent one for cash. It came back and we never heard from him again. We thought he'd left the area. The check dated Mar 29 is still here.
He was taken off the Edges private FB page- but our contact information is there for the public and has not changed. He was never "blocked" from contacting us by phone, FB message, or email which are all clearly stated at ATP's site.
We always pay everyone what is due them, just ask any of our cast or crew people.
