Two-Beards Theatre Company is
holding auditions for its debut show, Mr. Marmalade by Noah Haidle late evening August 21 at the Salvage Vanguard Theatre, 2803 Manor Rd. - click for map.Auditions will consist of a group exercise and cold readings from the script. (Feel free to dress in movement attire) It is suggested to read the complete script before auditions. Please bring a Resume and Headshot if available.

Lucy is a four-year-old girl with a very active imagination. Unfortunately, her imaginary friend Mr. Marmalade doesn't have much time for her. Not to mention he beats up his personal assistant, has a cocaine addiction, and a penchant for pornography and very long dildos. Larry, her only real friend, is the youngest suicide attempt in the history of New Jersey. MR. MARMALADE is a savage black comedy about what it takes to grow up in these difficult times.
The show will rehearse during the month of September and perform October 4th, 5th, 11th, and 12th at 8 pm with an added performance on the 5th at 10 pm. Actors will be called to at least two rehearsal a week, unless otherwise required.
