Prepare a comedic monologue not to exceed one minute in length. (Hint: Choose a piece that demonstrates your comedic timing.)• All roles are open and will be cast as volunteer positions.
• Show Dates: October 19 – November 17, 2013 (No Show on 10/31 or 11/3.)
• Performance times: Thursdays at 7:30pm, Saturdays at 8:00pm, Sunday matinees at 2:30pm, and potential selected Sunday evening shows at 7:30pm. Call times are 1 hour before curtain.
• Rehearsals will begin with a few meetings, read-throughs, and table work sessions in early September. Regular rehearsals will begin September 16th.
• A typical Vex rehearsal schedule is Monday- Thursday 7 pm-10 pm. Friday and weekend rehearsals are scheduled as needed throughout the rehearsal period.
• The final two weeks and weekends of rehearsals include technical and dress rehearsals with the full company called.
The Sheldon Vexler Theatre at 12500 N.W. Military Highway, San Antonio, Texas, 78231 (The Vex is located in the back of the building. Drive around to the left and follow signs to enter through the back doors.)
