Director Lou Garza will hold open auditions for the final 2012-2013 Season S.T.A.G.E., Inc. production, STUDS TURKEL'S THE GOOD WAR, a musical by David H Bell & Craig Carnelia. Auditions will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 26, 2013 at Krause House Theatre, 1300 Bulverde Road in Bulverde. Be prepared to sing at auditions. Bring sheet music, a CD, a cassette or sing a capella.

Eight male performers and a female performer are needed (all actors play multiple characters except Private Small). Role distribution:

S.T.A.G.E., Inc. is honored to present the first production of Burton Bumgarner's drama, A TIME TO HEAL, with a multi-racial cast to celebrate Black History Month.

Based on an actual event, A TIME TO HEAL combines the story of a segregated hospital with words and experiences of civil rights demonstrators in the 1960's. This production will appeal to audiences of diverse backgrounds and experiences.

This comedy is about a writer of romance novels who suddenly suffers from a bad case of writer's block and accidently deletes the first eight chapters of his boom....and is continually interrupted by a host of visitors including a cantankerous plumber, a homeless woman selling magazines, a nervous pizza delivery person, a Girl Scout, an irate boxer, etc.
