The San Pedro Playhouse has received a generous grant for $10,000 from the Ruth Lang Charitable Fund of the San Antonio Area Foundation to sponsor this summer's "Playhouse in the Park" event and educational program.
This year's show, The Trojan Women, will be presented in the park on the natural ledge area just north of the spring pool.There will be no charge for admission. Performances will begin at 7:00 p.m. on July 30 and 31 and August 1, 2, 6, 7, 8 and 9.
The Thursday night performances have been added for the first time this year. A Classical Theater intensive will be held in conjunction with the production for high school and college students.
