FTC’s Holiday Hit Parade!

Do we have a holiday show for you! This 1980 Drama Desk Award Winner for Outstanding Musical, by Walton Jones, takes us back to the glory days of radio and the beginning of World War II. Filled with such classics as “Our Love is Here to Stay,” “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy,” “Blues in the Night,” and “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” Radio Hour portrays the final 1942 holiday show of Mutual Manhattan Variety Calvalacade on New York radio station WOV as they record a broadcast for troops overseas.

Featuring the Sentimental Journey Orchestra and a cast of radio station characters, you won’t want to change that dial – or miss FTC’s holiday tour de force.
