Auditions for Julius Caesar by Shakespeare, Present Company, July 31 and August 1

Present Company Theatre is proud to announce auditions for this fall’s Shakespeare on the Farm production of Julius Caesar, directed by company member Joseph Garlock. Please note that the roles of Caesar and Antony have been cast.

Julius Caesar is Shakespeare’s classic political thriller of conspiracy and assassination and what comes next. Set in today’s political climate of assigning blame without foresight or solutions, it is at once a cautionary tale and a call to action.

The production will run from Fridays-Sundays, October 19 to November 4 at the beautiful Rain Lily Farm, with rehearsals beginning September 8. Members of the cast may also be asked to take part in a brief educational pre-show as part of the event, and most actors will play multiple roles.

Auditions will take place July 31 and August 1, 6 - 9 p.m., at the Dougherty Arts Center, 1110 Barton Springs Road, Austin, TX (click for map)
