Gypsy is considered one of the greatest musicals of all time, with some of the most memorable tunes ever written such as Everything is Coming Up Roses and Let Me Entertain You. It is a universal story of a mother and her relationships with her daughters set in the world of vaudeville and burlesque from 1910 through the 30s. Momma Rose is the classic stage-mother who is outrageous, brash, tough and larger than life. And her dream for success is a dream she lives vicariously through her daughters.

The dream team who created the original production of Gypsy includes Arthur Laurents (Book Writer), Stephen Sondheim (Lyricist), Jule Styne (Composer), and Jerome Robbins (Director/Choreographer). The local production team includes Ginger Morris (Director/Choreographer), Rachael Koske (Production Manager/Costume Designer), Becky White (Technical Director), and Tom Gabrielsen (Music Director/Conductor).
