NO DIRECTION PRODUCTIONS began as a way to explore new works by emerging artists who may not otherwise have a voice. The artists involved with NDP noticed that there was a need to nurture the underground art scene not only in Austin but in the state of Texas. We realized that a unifying organization could bring the arts to Austin in a productive and inspiring way. We believe that with No Direction Productions we can awaken senses and inspire action through art.
Our next project will be a documentary on the gospel music of Texas. Gospel music has always served as an expression of hope in the face of the most brutal abuses. And Texas has a rich history of some of the most powerful expressions of this music. Yet, it has largely been unrecognized, not preserved and the people, for the most part, forgotten.
NO DIRECTION PRODUCTIONS is always looking for new volunteers for:
Concessions, Box Office, Scenery and Costume, Stage Crew, Publicity, and of course, Artists.
