Xanadu is an over-the-top, roller-skating musical that spoofs the outrageously campy 1980’s film starring Olivia Newton-John and Gene Kelly. A beautiful muse named Clio descends from Mt. Olympus to Venice Beach and inspires a struggling artist named Sonny to create his biggest dream: the first roller disco. In a cheesy twist of fate, Clio and Sonny fall in love as they overcome the odds posed against them by a greedy real estate owner, Clio’s evil sisters, and her father Zeus’ vice grip on her love life.
