The Georgetown Palace Theatre announces auditions for Always, Patsy Cline, a two-woman show.
Hello All you Fantastic Actors, We are looking for 2 women: Patsy Cline.....strong vocals, confident performer....some acoustic guitar experience preferred but not necessary; and Louise....middle aged woman with great humor instincts....some acoustic guitar experience preferred but not necessary.
Always, Patsy Cline is based on a true story about Cline's friendship with a fan from Houston Texas named Louise Seger who befriended the singing star in a Texas honky-tonk in 1961. The two women stayed friends thru correspondence until Cline's tragic death at age 30 in a plane crash in 1963. The musical features some of Cline's greatest songs (with a live 6 piece band) as well as down home country humor! Come on out and join the fun!
Initial Auditions will be held Tuesday, August 21st, 2012 from 6pm-9pm at the Georgetown Palace Theater at 810 South Austin Ave in Georgetown (click for map)
