Heaven-Earth-One is a site-specific aerial dance performance that carries the audience on a visual journey of transcendence. This piece features dancers on the terrace ring, columns, aerial silks, zip lines and plaza of City Terrace. A zip line stretches from the roof of the theatre down to the terrace ring, allowing dancers to descend over the heads of the audience. The beautiful Austin nighttime skyline serves as the backdrop for this mesmerizing show. Using aerial techniques informed by classical, interpretive and modern dance, Blue Lapis Light challenges physical limitations and inspires our audiences with a sense of wonder.
