The Land Of Virtuosity, located within the Carmack Performing Arts Complex,1948 Austin Highway, is casting for a Musical Melodrama theatre productions of THE DRUNKARD or THE FALLEN SAVED, a Comedic Adaptation written and directed by Laralee List Wahrmund, with music composed by Tito Villalobos Moreno. Opening in June through August to run all summer!
All actors must sing and must truly enjoy performing for children and families, not mind having popcorn thrown at the actor cast as the villian, and be available to rehears Weekday evenings after 7 p.m., students welcome. Days and Times of rehearsals will be worked around the schedule of the Cast. Shows will perform: Fridays at 6 p.m., Saturdays at 2 & 6 p.m. and Sundays at 4:30 p.m.
Pay is a percent of the house.
THE DRUNKARD is a HILARIOUS Meolodrama...not originally intended to be so, that ran consecutively for 36 years in Los Angeles. This production, opening here in June 2013, was last performed in Los Angeles and ran for 5 months.
