Austin Lyric Opera Seeking Actors for Ad Campaign

ALO is seeking actors to portray opera performers for its new campaign. Actors must be available for full-day, in-studio photo shoot in early August. Actors will perform in period costume with hair and makeup staff on hand.


SEEKING: Romantic leading men 20-60; Romantic leading lady 20-40. Opera or stage training a plus. Vocal training a plus. Must be willing to videotaped and photographed during the audition to promote campaign. Actors may play multiple roles. For more about the “look” please visit our Season Information page.

Tosca – early 1800s –seeking women for roles of Floria Tosca – men for roles of Mario Cavaradossi and Baron Scarpia

The Elixir of Love – Late 1700s – seeking women for role of Adina – men for roles of Nemorino, Belcore, Dulcamara
