Moonlight and Magnolias was commissioned by the Goodman Theatre in Chicago, where it premiered in 2004. Then, after a New York debut in 2005, the piece appeared in theatres across the country. Based on the true story of the making of Gone with the Wind, this ruckus farce imagines what happened behind closed doors when David Selznick, Victor Fleming and Ben Hecht wrote the screenplay to the move - in five days! Read a full synopsis of the plot here. This production will play at City Theatre October 4 - 21, 2012. For more information, please visit the show's webpage.
