Opportunity in San Antonio: Vexler Theatre Seeks Actor for Role in Tracy Letts' August: Osage County

Sheldon Vexler Theatre, San Antonio, TXThe Vex is now casting for the role of Sheriff Gilbeau in August: Osage County (all other roles are cast). This character re-enters the lives of the Weston Family, 30 years after going to high school with the Weston sisters--and taking one of them to prom, to look into the disappearance of their father Beverly. Rehearsals begin Monday, June 18th with performances beginning on August 23rd. Auditions will be by individual appointment, and will consist of cold readings from the script. (No Monologue Necessary) Please email vexler@jcc-sa.org to schedule a time to meet with Paul Fillingim, the director. Casting will occur as soon as possible.

Show Dates: 8/23, 8/25, 8/26, 8/30, 9/1, 9/2, 9/6, 9/8, 9/9, 9/13, 9/15, 9/16
Performance times: Thursdays at 7:30pm, Saturdays at 8:00pm, and Sundays at 2:30pm. Call times are 60 minutes before curtain.
