Theatre Design & Technology Spring Showcase
The University of Texas at Austin Department of Theatre and Dance presents an exciting exhibition celebrating the work of emerging artists in theatre design and technology the 2010 Theatre Design & Technology Spring Showcase, May 6–8, at the Oscar G. Brockett Theatre.
The public is invited to see the exquisite design work of students in theatre design and technology spanning scenery, costume and lighting. The annual Theatre Design & Technology Spring Showcase is a retrospective exhibition of student work that includes all MFA candidates and selected senior undergraduate students in Costume, Lighting, Scenic Design, Costume Technology, and Theatrical Design.
All are welcome to attend a reception in conjunction with the showcase on May 7 from 6 – 8 p.m. Guests will have the unique opportunity to visit one-on-one with student designers while enjoying an assortment of light refreshments.
Public viewing hours are May 6, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., May 7, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m & May 8, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free. No reservations required.
Oscar G. Brockett Theatre (WIN) The Winship building is located on the East Mall circle near the intersection of San Jacinto and 23rd streets.
Parking available in the San Jacinto Garage on San Jacinto near Dean Keeton.
