We are expanding! This is your chance to be a part of Austin's first operatic ensemble dedicated to unique shows in unexpected locations. Auditionswill be scheduled on September 30 at Central Presbyterian Church, 200 E. 8th Street, 78701 (click for map).
Requirements:
1. Current resume
2. Current headshot
3. Rep list (songs / arias / roles that you can be asked to sing with little to no preparation)
4. Availability thru New Years Day
5. Titles of 3-4 pieces you are prepared to sing
-1 must be in English (yes, musical theatre is acceptable)
-1 must be an aria in a foreign language
-1-2 others of your choosing (NO pop, rock, etc)
On the day of the audition, we will collect a $30 audition fee from each participant. To "apply" for an audition slot, please email the above required materials to Julie Fiore, Founder and General Director, for consideration - julie@oneounceopera.com. OOO offers paid opportunities for classically trained professional (or pre-professional) singer/actors. All members must be at least 21 years old and have at least one role to their credit. Rehearsals are scheduled Monday evenings from 8-11 in Central Austin. All members must be available to rehearse during this time.
