AUDITIONS 
for In the Next Room or The Vibrator Play by Sarah Ruhl, directed by Mindy Feedham, on April 23, 7:00 p.m. at the San Pedro Playhouse Cellar Theater. Arrive early to register. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and close at 7:30 p.m.
Actors should prepare a comedic monologue of their choice and be prepared to do some cold readings as well.
In the Next Room or The Vibrator Play is the laugh-out-loud, provocative, and touching story of a proper young Victorian scientist and physician who has innocently invented an extraordinary new device for treating hysteria in women (and occasionally men), the vibrator. Nominated for the 2010 Tony Award for Best Play and a finalist for the 2010 Pulitzer, In the Next Room is as rich in thought as it is in feeling. Production dates are June 8-July 8, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m., Sundays at 2:30 p.m. No performance on June 10. All roles are available.
