Info from Scottish Rite Theatre
I highly recommend the Scottish Rite Theatre for an outing with your kids. My daughter was begging me to go back to see Little Red Riding Hood a second time!

Scottish Rite Children's Theatre's second production of the season, a brand new production of Hansel and Gretel, opens April 25 and tickets are on sale now!
In this charming take on the classic Grimms’ fairy tale, Hansel and Gretel are two brave, smart children who have a crazy adventure in the woods. They meet a wise-cracking gingerbread boy, a kooky witch and a delightful goose named Lucy. Written by Austin playwright Ann Ciccolella, the child-friendly tale–complete with puppets–encourages audience participation and is perfect for ages 3-9.
Be sure to check www.srct.org, frequently for surprise visits by the Biscuit Brothers, holiday shows, and Shakespeare productions at the theatre. You will find Hansel and Gretel details below, along with the 2009 season of shows. Note: Summer camps at Scottish Rite are registering now. Click here for summer camp details.
