Auditions near Marble Falls for Charlie Cox Runs with Scissors, February 18 and 19, 2013

The Hill Country Community Theatre is pleased to announce auditions for their fourth production of the 2012-2013 season, Charlie Cox Runs with Scissors by Michael McKeever,  February 18 and 19, 2013, 7:00 p.m. at the Hill Country Community Theatre in Marble Falls/Cottonwood Shores (4003 FM 2147 West - click for map).

Todd Essary directs the quirky comedy about a middle-aged guy named Charlie, who’s never been in love and never taken a risk. When he is faced with one big unexpected problem, he hits the road, hoping to find some meaning in his life. At a broken-down motel in the middle of nowhere, Charlie thinks he has found the answer. With warmth, humor and humanity this award-winning play proves it is never too late to start living.

Director Needed by Hill Country Community Theatre near Marble Falls - Paid Position

The Hill Country Community Theatre is looking to hire an experienced director for their upcomingproduction of the comedy/drama Charlie Cox Runs With Scissors. 
 
 The position pays $1000.

"She is like a little safe, locked, that no one can open. Perhaps there is a treasure inside." So states Mr. Anagnos to Anne Sullivan as she takes a young Helen Keller under her wing in The Miracle Worker, opening November 4th at H.C.C.T.

The show, directed by Steve Reily, ranges from delightfully humorous moments to high drama, with a beautiful hopeful ending message. A dual casting in the role of Helen enables two terrific young actresses, Ocean Fillingim and Amber Grubert, to share the part.
