Volunteer Positions for Zilker Theatre Production’s musical of Little Shop of Horrors

Stage Crew Volunteers Stage Crew responsibilities may include setting up the stage, placing/striking the sets and props for the show. The crew also assists the actors with moving sets and props during the show’s scene changes. Some lifting may be required; however we can accommodate your needs. Call times usually start around 6:30. (Times will be arranged with the Stage managers) Training will be provided. We would need people starting June 27 – August 17, 6:30 – 11:00pm. We are flexible if people need to have certain nights off or can only work part of the summer.

Front of House Volunteers House Managing Crew is responsible for assisting the house manager with stuffing programs, handing out programs and welcoming patrons to the hillside. This crew will also assist the Concessions people with set up. This volunteer position is not required to be there the whole evening. We would need people July 12 – August 17, 6:30 – 10:30pm (every Thursday thru Sunday). We are flexible if people need to have certain nights or weekends off or only want to do part of the summer.

Opportunity: Tech Assistants and Scene Ninjas, Will Rogers Follies at Georgetown Palace Theatre

We're looking for crew members for our production of Will Rogers Follies. This awesome show opens July 5th, and runs through August 4th, with 18 performances. We need a lots of help with lots of different positions, including a Spot smooth operator, and several Running Ninjas, light board operator, audio assistant (A2, who helps troubleshoot the wireless mics).

We also need a fly operator, for which we will pay a small stipend. We can work around conflicts, though it's important you attend as many of the tech rehearsals as possible, which begin on June 25th. This show will be amazing, and you will have lots of fun, and do some pretty cool stuff backstage. We can and will train you as well. So while experience is helpful, it isn't required. You'll also get 2 comp tickets as well.

Opportunity in San Antonio: The Playhouse Recruits Ushers, January 8, 12, 13, 17

Welcome to the new year at The Playhouse! To start the new year off on a great foot, we are offering several Usher Training sessions this January. If you've ever been interested in ushering, this is a great opportunity to come out and learn more about the program.
