Several successful grant applications have just been published at the the New Plays blog maintained by the Arena Stage in Washington DC on behalf of the "American Voices" program of the National Endowment for the Arts. Included is the 2008 application by the Rude Mechanicals for support in developing their Western mythic epic I've Never Been So Happy. Applicants granted permission for the publication, intended in part as a guide and inspiration for companies currently preparing applications.Click on the image to view the three-page application.
