ms explores one patient's journey from unfamiliar doctor visits and tests to an inevitable diagnosis. Like many unexpected journeys the path is sometimes frustrating, terrifying and amusing, but it is always unknown.
Molly Fonseca's one-person play strives to open the lines of communication about disease and what it does not only to our physical bodies but also to our hearts. How do we recover in the face of this new information and how do we find the strength to keep moving forward? Making its Austin premiere at FronteraFest Short Fringe, ms offers a peek into the mind of a reluctant patient who is as unsure of the next step as is the audience who is joining her.
