Lighting designer Jennifer Tipton has won Tony Awards for Best Lighting Design for The Cherry Orchard and Jerome Robbins' Broadway in 1977 and 1989, respectively. In addition, she won two Drama Desk Awards for Outstanding Lighting Design.

With her most innovative designs created for dance productions, Tipton serves as the principal lighting designer for Paul Taylor Dance Company and has worked with choreographers Mikhail Baryshnikov, Trisha Brown, Jiri Kylian, Dana Reitz, Twyla Tharp, and Dan Wagoner. Since 1971, she has designed for the American Ballet Theatre. Don't miss this opportunity to hear Jennifer Tipton and see some of her lighting techniques!
