Upcoming auditions for The 39 Steps at the Sheldon Vexler Theatre, 1250 NW Military Highway, San Antonio. ("A riotous blend of virtuoso performances and wildly inventive stagecraft.") Directed by: Tami Kai Frazier. Mix a Hitchcock masterpiece with a juicy spy novel, add a dash of Monty Python and you have a fast-paced whodunit with non stop laughs and over 150 zany characters!

Bring a completed Performer Information Form and a completed Conflict Form. All roles are open and will be cast as volunteer positions.
All roles demand high physical energy and a strong sense of comedic timing. 1 female (playing multiple roles) 3 males (2 playing multiple roles)
Auditioners should prepare the following items:
1. ALL AUDITIONERS: Prepare 3 distinctive original characters with their own personalities and unique physical and vocal attributes. These characters will be put into improvisational and cold reading situations during the audition process.
2. If you are NEW TO THE VEX, please bring a prepared humorous or melodramatic monologue not to exceed 30 seconds in length.
3. If you are a VEX VETERAN, the monologue is optional.
